The hotel is located in a quiet street near the Train Station, just across the river from the Castle, located only 300 meters from the ancient Castle, the Cathedral and the shopping- and dining areas. The hotel is hidden away from noice and traffic, but there is no need even to ask how far is the town centre, as this is in the very middle of it. Communications are truly easy and convenient as trains and buses are nearby and all points of interest are within easy walking distance. The famous beach is only 15 min away.

All rooms are individually decorated and WiFi access is provided throughout the hotel, as well as in the rooms. The building dates back to 1903 and the hotel is cozy, warm and welcoming with only 46 rooms. All rooms are ranked four stars with ensuite facilities and redesigned bathrooms and presented in four different room categories. All rooms are classic with original details and several rooms have even kept the original stoves. Rooms are clean and tidy and fitted with very good beds, television and writing desk, all offering great hospitality.

A full and complimentary buffet breakfast is served every morning for all hotel guests. There is a supplementary evening buffet or a local meal served later in the day. The dining lounge is located on the lower level. There are also well renowned outlets and plenty of dining possibilities near the hotel as well. Several local and international kitchens would be found and they are all open long hours and all serve attractive and tasty food. The lobby bar and lounge offers light dishes and refreshments. During summer, meals are also served in the courtyard garden by the pool.

The conference area is located in the west wing of the hotel, offering modern facilities in the lounge from the turn of the century. Maximum 40 persons may be accommodated for conference or meetings.

Recreational facilities include the hotel Spa & Relax, sauna and fitness center. There is also a hot spring in the hotel courtyard. Massage and Spa treatments can be booked on site.
